Well, basically, on Hogswatch night, the Hogfather drives his sleigh pulled by four little pigs throughout the Disc, giving people sausages if they've been good and generally delivering joy and merriment. Unless you've been [a slight pause here, as though it were tough to say these next words] a bad boy.

Coal? That'd be helpful, though, especially in the cold. Why would that be a bad present? No, you get a bag full of bloodied pigs' bones. [Although, for certain people that was a fun gift, too. Wolfgang always laughed and laughed whenever the bag came for him.]

Mostly the same. Only it's Father Christmas instead of an 'ogfather and 'e flies usin' reindeer, not pigs.

So, you're working with Chief Beckett, right?

Yeah, to come up with a criminal code for this place and for the police force to work with.

That's a necessary idea. I'd say that it was surprising that no one's done it yet, but from what I've heard it's mostly been police in the City, and we're usually not too good at that sort of thing. Just upholding it.

I heard there used to be some sort of justice system, but not anymore. If you feel like chiming in at any time with ideas for the code, just let me know.

I'd appreciate that. You're clearly from a different background than I am and since I don't actually want to just impose my view on crime on the City, I think another opinion can only help.

I'm sure that you wouldn't be looked down on for asking around the rest of the force too, though. Especially as it'll be all of us enforcing it.

Chief Beckett already mentioned that she'd like to be involved as well. I figure I'll come up with something first and then see what people have to say about it and modify it accordingly.
